Carlos & Zelda

We have two beautiful, very friendly cats, Carlos and Zelda, that need to be rehomed. Both are VERY lovable and affectionate, enjoy being held, purr everytime you pick them up and they never put out their claws.  

I adopted them from the shelter just before Christmas with the intention of making them outside barn cats.  They stayed in the tack room for a week to become familiar with the smells and sounds.  Then I built a "safe area" with a cozy bed for them in our hay barn.  After letting them out of the tack room, both Zelda and Carlos stuck around the first night.  The second night I could not find Carlos.  The third night - no Carlos.  I was worried sick, cried and got myself all upset.  I was certain an owl had go him. On the fourth morning he appeared in the barn!!!!!!  ...happy and unscathed.

Carlos and Zelda are back in our tack room as I do not have the heart to let them wander here and get eaten ... too many coyotes, wolves and owls.  Both Zelda and Carlos would make great indoor/outdoor cats.  We already have a senior indoor cat who enjoys being the only cat!  Carlos and Zelda are both about 4 years old, litter box trained, current on shots and are micro chipped.

Carlos "talks" and make cute sounds.  He really enjoys being held and riding on your shoulder.  Carlos is great with dogs and is litter box trained.

Zelda is a little more independent, but enjoys attention.  She will curl around your feet.  Zelda likes only dry food and is not as trusting of unfamiliar dogs. She may hiss at them.  Zelda is very particular about keeping a tidy litter box!

Both cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, wormer and are microchipped.
